Berghain is probably one of the most famous clubs in the world with its strict door policy – literally the bouncer takes one look at you and then says yes or no depending on how cool you look – which makes it even more exclusive.

On any day of the week I daresay the bouncers probably turn away about 50% of the people that show up, so to say you’ve experienced it really is something else. There’s also no pictures or filming allowed inside so there’s barely any footage of it on the internet – if you want to know what it’s like then you just have to get in.
Fortunately, there’s now a new website that helps you with that little problem. It uses facial recognition software to test your body language as you answer questions when you approach Berghain bouncer Sven. He asks you three questions from a variety including ‘how old are you?’ ‘why should I let you in?’ and ‘have you taken drugs tonight?’ and the computer analyses your responses and facial tics to see if you’ve got what it takes to get into the elite club.

I’ve tried it four times on the simulator (and once in reality) and there’s no way I’ve got anywhere near getting in – it’s a lot harder than it sounds. If you want to test your luck then head on over to berghaintrainer.com now.
If you didn’t manage to get in, maybe try one of the clubs over in Berlin that has started substituting conventional drugs for chocolate instead.
